My 7-yo daughter, Aurora, has been attending Wushu classes at OMAC since late February 2019. We have seen her confidence build with each class and her love for Wushu and her friendships at OMAC build as well! We put our 6-year-old son into OMAC’s kung fu class hoping it would help him build confidence and improve focus. We were thrilled with the results on both counts.

After a while, his 3-year-old sister insisted on taking classes too, and even though she was a bit young we tried it out.

I have enjoyed the Yi Jin Jing qigong ( chi kung or chi gung) lessons from John. He is patient and technical in his style of teaching, which has helped me learn efficiently and effectively. After three lessons, I have already felt benefits in my back and ham strings through my ability to stretch. This form of qi gong was used by Shaolin monks to counter the hours of sitting meditation. After sitting for hours at a desk every day, I find this meditation an excellent remedy to such inactivity, much as the Shaolin intended! 🙂

We signed our kids up for a half-day, daily session of summer Wushu camp with Shifu and they begged us every day to change it to a full day; we did, and they loved it.

I have been studing Taichi at OMAC for more than two years. I have experienced great increases in balance, core strength, and inner strength under the patient tutelage of Shifu Wang and with the support of the other students. Qigong, my most recent experience in the internal martial arts at OMAC, has after three lessons improved my flexibility and reduced pain in my lower back from a bulging disc.
